PRIORITIES

EDUCATE

Protect

The Massachusetts Real Estate Community Alliance strives to understand all the far-reaching problems created by this highly competitive housing market and find creative, evidence-backed solutions to address them.

THE KEY TO MAKING AN IMPACT

Educate

An important goal for the Massachusetts Real Estate Community Alliance is to educate residents and industry professionals about state and local laws and policies that affect them directly. By better understanding the issues that cause and continue to fuel the housing crisis, we hope to create new solutions and new housing development to change the status quo. As a nonpartisan, non-profit organization, we do not answer to any specific entity that will limit our ability to push for the American dream and to bring it within reach for more residents.

ADVOCATE

Massachusetts is facing a housing crisis driven by supply and demand because our municipalities have, for decades, worked against housing development. The severe lack of housing production has dramatically inflated the cost of housing and prevented many from accessing the stability, investment, and community-building homeownership offers. We are committed to finding solutions to address these complex problems. We will mobilize and advocate, where and when it’s needed, to reach our goals.

PROTECT

We are committed to studying the housing crisis and crafting practical policy solutions to create and protect the affordable and inclusive communities of tomorrow. The Massachusetts Real Estate Community Alliance will fund cutting-edge research and work with industry leaders and a grassroots network of advocates to be a pivotal resource for key decision-makers and Massachusetts residents alike.
